The difference between thank you and thanks

[align=center]We use these two words everyday in our lives but have you ever thought about the difference between them two.
They both have the same meaning but we should use each one of them differently.
THANK YOU: this word is more formal than thanks and it should be used with people that you don’t know very well. E.g. work place, public places.
THANKS: it should be used more with friends, family and relatives.
But let me remind you that they both got the same meaning and people don’t really care these days about using them in any situation.[/align]

it's true that lots of people dont pay attention to it ,, that's why i thought why dont i tell people about it specially for the reason that you just mentioned right now the fact that you need to be formal with some people..

الفرقـ بيـن _ Thank You & Thanks ... ؟




It just came in mind those two

normal words we all use

all time " Thank You " and " Thanks"



Thank You and Thanks are very nice

and comforting words , they explain

how greatful you are and show

the other side the deserved respect

They have the same meaning

but when we should use each one of them

everyone of them has its own situation to use

Thank You : it should be used with

someone whom you do not know very well

Thanks : it could be used with

relatives and friends only, you cannot

use it with a stranger
